It’s Military Spouse Appreciation Month! Today, we’re highlighting a military spouse and one of our Twelve Million Plus community members.
Charli is a military spouse born and raised in a military family. Her father served in the Army, her brother was in the Marines, and her husband was active-duty Army for 14 years. She and her husband have five children between them, ranging in age from 4 years old to college.
Charli’s Journey
Charli learned about Instant Teams through her LinkedIn network while looking for a new work opportunity. With Instant Teams, she found a company with remote positions available to military spouses, but it was the skills-based hiring process that really caught her attention.
“Due to PCSs and deployments, military spouses often endure frequent moves and job changes, and we may have gaps in our employment journey, which could reflect negatively on our resumes,” says Charli.
After Charli created her career seeker account with Instant Teams, she applied for a position with one of our customers directly through her account.
“The recruitment team was friendly and ready to help me to find the perfect job. The process was focused on my skill set and not only my resume, which helped me find my new remote job as an Administrative Support Specialist.”
